MLS® Data Access:

• Newsletter sign-up: By ticking the consent checkbox on our newsletter form, you expressly consent to receive email marketing from IslandSold.com (Dallas King, RE/MAX Generation).
• Property alerts: By ticking the consent checkbox on the alert sign-up form, you expressly consent to receive matching-listing emails for your chosen area.
• VOW / account registration: You may optionally opt in to market updates and insights during registration via a clearly labelled, unchecked-by-default checkbox.
• Prepared Buyer Program application: You may optionally opt in to market updates during the application process via a clearly labelled, unchecked-by-default checkbox.

We record the consent text shown, timestamp, source form, and IP address at the time of sign-up for audit purposes. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking Unsubscribe in any email we send, or by visiting islandsold.com/unsubscribe.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors use our site. Some technologies involve third-party services:

• Essential cookies: Required for basic site functionality (session management, login state). These are set automatically and cannot be declined without disabling core features.

For VOW users, we retain access logs and transaction records in accordance with VREB compliance requirements (minimum 2 years).

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including SSL encryption, secure password storage, and restricted database access.

However, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

Under BC PIPA and CASL, you have the right to:
