Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and IslandSold.com ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the IslandSold.com website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, browsing property listings, or using any Platform features, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• The information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

IslandSold.com is not liable for any losses arising from the unauthorized use of your account. You remain fully responsible for all charges and obligations associated with your account.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Platform.

Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person
• Transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting normal flow of dialogue
• Disrupting the normal flow of dialogue or commenting within our platform
• Interfering with the operation of the Platform
• Attempting unauthorized access to our systems

Our property listings are sourced from the Victoria Real Estate Board (VREB) and comply with MLS® regulations. You agree to use property information solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Republish or redistribute property listings without authorization
• Use property data for commercial or competitive purposes
• Create derivative works from property information
• Scrape or automate data collection from the Platform

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ISLANDSOLD.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES (WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT), ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms means you have accepted and agreed to the changes.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria, BC.
